Hi guys! Today I’m answering all of your questions about dental hygiene school from my Instagram stories yesterday. I hope you find some of the answers helpful!
“How do you focus when you study?” -I used to need it to be extremely silent when I studied but now, I just study to music! It makes me so much more motivated. Spotify has a ton of fun study playlists depending on your mood. Another thing I do is leave my phone in a different room so I will stay off Instagram. “What do hygiene schools look for most when accepting people into the program?”
‘’Was getting into school difficult? I will be applying this Winter!”
“Tips for managing school and personal life! And how to you manage school stress?”
“I have my dental hygiene school interview tomorrow. Any tips?”
“What is a typical day like?”
“Hi! What is your advice on working part time while in hygiene school?”
“How would you recommend preparing for the first semester in the program? Any tips?”
“How do you stay organized?”
“What kind of tips do you have to help keep balance in your life?”
“What are some wrist strengthening techniques you used?”
“How did you find the right DH school?”
“How is the transition from being an assistant to being a hygiene student? Was it hard?”
“Before starting the program did you ever get overwhelmed and want to back out?”
“As a dental hygienist what is the most difficult part of studying for the board exam?”
Thanks for sending in your questions! -Callie

Hi guys! Sorry I have been neglecting my blog this past month. This summer semester has really been a tough one and I’ve been exhausted every day I come home. This week we had two tests and it gave me the inspiration to share a few test taking tips I’ve picked up on this journey so far.
I hope you found at least one of these tips helpful! Happy testing, Callie |
